SAN ANTONIO – The North East Independent School District is looking for part-time bus drivers.
The district offers paid driver training for candidates to obtain a commercial driver's license B with passenger and school bus endorsements.

Starting pay for bus drivers is $12.28 per hour with an increase to $12.50 during the first year of driving. The Transportation Department's weekly perfect attendance bonus can add $50.00 per month to earnings.
Available benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, retirement, paid training and paid holidays.
Applicants must have a valid Texas driver's license, be 21 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
Candidates must complete a physical examination, drug test, and criminal background check.
