Suspects sought in fatal South Side shooting

Cesar Frausto, 31, shot several times in 1400 block of Cantrell Drive

SAN ANTONIO – Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in a fatal shooting on San Antonio's South Side.

The shooting happened June 7 around 2:20 a.m. in the 1400 block of Cantrell Drive.

According to investigators, Cesar Frausto, 31, and another man were talking when someone in a car fired multiple rounds, killing Frausto.

The other man was also shot. Police said he managed to drive himself to the 200 block of Sussex Avenue, where he called for help. He was taken by ambulance to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said they had little information to go on, other than that the gunmen were riding in an older, white Chevrolet Cavalier.
