distracted driving PSA Winner


The winner of the KSAT Community PSA contest are students from Churchill High School.

The name of their PSA – "Is It Worth It?"

The students that worked and produced the PSA are:

SA Live anchors Jeff & Fiona went to Churchill High School on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 to present & announce to the students that they had won the PSA contest.  The segment aired on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 during SA Live.

The Student Video PSA Contest launched in January 2015 with an April 3, 2015 deadline.  There were 5 entries from local schools within the "Go Public" program.  Students in any academic discipline were asked to produce a (:30 second) PSA describing how students can encourage their peers to refrain from participating in any activities which can lead to distracted driving accidents.

The PSA is airing on both KSAT & METV through the end of the year.
