SAN ANTONIO – Three men with guns are being sought in connection with a home invasion at an apartment on the city's far West Side.
San Antonio police said they found the victims, a man and woman, at the Gates of Capernum apartments in the 8600 block of Waters Edge Road after 11:30 p.m. Thursday.
Officers at the scene said the couple told them they had been robbed by three men with guns who barged into the home.
They said the criminals took electronic tablets, cellphones and wallets.
The man told told police that the gunmen also pistol-whipped him after he answered their knock on his door.
After the robbery, police searched the neighborhood for the robbers. However, even with the help of a police helicopter, they did not find them.
