SAPD: Man killed while attempting tricks on motorcycle

Jeremiah W. Blalock Jr., 27, died Saturday on North Side

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police said a motorcyclist was killed while trying to perform a stunt on his bike.

Police said Jeremiah W. Blalock Jr., 27, was driving his 2005 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle south on Highway 281 North approaching Wurzbach Parkway just before 2 p.m. Saturday.

Blalock was attempting to skid his feet on the roadway when he lost control, veered right and collided with a wooden pole supporting the guardrail, police said. 

He was being treated in an EMS unit when he died. 

Police said Blalock was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and didn't hit any other vehicles. 

An investigation into the crash is underway, but no charges are pending, police said.
