SAPD: Boot thief hits store twice in 2 days

Reward offered for info leading to arrests

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is searching for the person or persons responsible for burglarizing the same store twice in two days.

The Texas Western Warehouse at 5602 Kenwick Street was broken into between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. June 30.

SAPD said a man pried open a steel door and stole several pairs of boots and women's jean shorts. The next day, July 1, a thief hit the store again at the same time, stealing the same items.

Police said the burglar fled the scene in an unknown direction. The burglar is described as a Hispanic man about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 190 pounds.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the burglars.
