Princess Anna leaves voicemail for girl fighting brain cancer

For Avery Huffman, 6, it was a regular day. Until she was made honorary Princess of Arendelle by none other than‘Frozen' Princess Anna.

On June 30, Avery was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an inoperable brain tumor. Since then, she has been fighting for her life with her friends and family supporting her every step of the way.

Avery got a morale boost when she received a voicemail from actor Kristen Bell, who provides the voice for the cinematic princess.

"Hi Avery, this is Princess Anna from Arendelle," Bell said while in character for the phone message. "I just wanted to call and say hello. So, hello! I hope you're having a great day and playing a lot with Hoppy Jumpy. I love bunnies."

But as Anna paused, Avery discovered, with joy filled eyes, that Anna wasn't the only royalty cheering her on.

"My sister Elsa says she's heard you've been such a good girl and that you've been so brave she has decided to crown you an honorary princess of Arendelle. Wow, that's so exciting! I think you'll make a great princess. Well, I got to go build a snowman with my friend Olaf now," Bell said, before saying goodbye.

There is no word on the official date of Princess Avery's royal proclamation. KSAT 12 reached out to the ambassadors at the kingdom of Arendelle for more information. As soon as they respond we will update this story.
