$5,000 reward offered for man wanted for sexually assaulting local teen

SAN ANTONIO – The Texas Department of Public Safety added a man wanted for sexually assaulting a local teen to its most wanted fugitives list Tuesday, hoping a $5,000 reward would lead to his capture.

Christopher James Lopez, 20, is wanted for sexual assault of a child in Guadalupe County. The girl said the abuse happened when she was 13, then again when she was 14.

Lopez was featured on KSAT-12 June 9 when the United States Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force joined the effort to find Lopez.

While the alleged crime happened in Guadalupe County, Lopez is believed to have ties specifically to Seguin, San Antonio and Kerrville.

Lopez is 6'1" tall and weighs 260 pounds. He has tattoos on both arms and his right hand.
