BCSO asking for help in identifying shooting victim

Man found shot to death on Quesenberry Road

SAN ANTONIO – Bexar County sheriff's detectives are asking for help from the public in identifying a man who was found shot to death in the 14200 block of Quesenberry Road near Von Ormy.

Sheriff's spokesman James Keith said deputies responded to a 911 call around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and found the victim, who appeared to be in his 20s or 30s, lying in the middle of the roadway.

"(He was) face-down in a pool of blood. He had been shot multiple times," Keith said. "The problem is he had no identification, so we still don't know who he is."

Keith said there also were few clues left behind at the scene, so investigators are having a difficult time figuring out how he ended up there and why.

He said neighbors reported hearing a disturbance and several gunshots. Later, someone noticed the body and called authorities.

The victim is described as having numerous tattoos on his body, and was found wearing a San Diego Chargers football jersey, jeans and work boots.

Anyone who may know the victim or have information about his death is asked to call the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at 210-335-TIPS.
