SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man has been sentenced to life in prison in connection with a fatal crash on Father's Day 2013.

State District Judge Sid Harle on Thursday sentenced George Munoz, 39, to life after he was found guilty earlier this month of felony murder.

Munoz crashed his car into a sedan occupied by Wesley Lindsay, his wife Kathy Castillo, and the couple's three children. The couple and two of their children were killed.

Moments before the crash, Munoz had been involved in a confrontation with another motorist, police said.

"He struck the patrol car and he fled, and while fleeing, he killed him," prosecutor Todd Keagle told the jury during closing arguments.

Keagle was referring to Edward Lindsay, 7, one of two children who died in the crash.
