Crime Stoppers offers reward for info in robbery

Man held up Valero at I-35 and Starlight Terrace

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and Crime Stoppers are searching for a man who held up a Northeast Side convenience store.

Police said the man entered the Valero at Interstate 35 and Starlight Terrace on July 23 and pointed a gun at the clerk.

The man demanded money and fled on foot with cash in hand in an unknown direction.

Police described the man as a Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s. They said he is of medium build and was wearing a brown hat, sunglasses, blue-and-white checkered long-sleeved shirt, black pants and athletic shoes. 

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the man's arrest.
