SAN ANTONIO – A man who allegedly set his truck on fire because his monthly payments were too high was arrested Wednesday.
Emilio Flores, 22, was questioned by San Antonio police when they found his 2014 Chevrolet Silverado completely burned in the 6000 block of Highway 90 on June 28.

Flores told police he left his truck at a bar because he was too drunk to drive, but then changed his story a few days later.
According to witnesses, Flores previously joked about burning the truck because the payment was too high.
One of those witnesses confessed to police that he helped Flores set the truck on fire by pouring gasoline on it.
The truck was ruled a total loss with damages estimated at $50,000. Flores is being charged with arson.
