South Side apartment complex evacuated after fire breaks out

Fire caused $20,000 in damages, no injuries

SAN ANTONIO – At 1:30 a.m. Sunday, four units at a South Side apartment complex were evacuated from their homes after a wall caught fire.

Red Cross volunteers and the San Antonio Fire Department responded to the 2900 block of Roosevelt Avenue.

SAFD officials said someone was burning incense when the wall caught fire.

The unit sustained $20,000 in damages. There were no reports of any injuries.
