Car pulled from Converse pond sent to Austin for forensic testing

Zachary Mickles' body also pulled from pond Aug. 2

SAN ANTONIO – A car found submerged in a Converse stock pond where the body of Zachary Mickles, 25, was also found has been sent to Austin for forensic testing, Converse police said.

Mickles' body was found floating in the pond Aug. 2. The car belonging to Mickles' mother will be tested by the Department of Public Safety.

Converse police said that one of Mickles' co-workers is a suspect in his death. His name has not yet been released.

Investigators aren't sure what charges might be pursued in this case.
