SAN ANTONIO –
A man is dead after an accident on the far South Side of town.
It happened just after midnight on Moursund Road near Gillete.

Police said the driver of the truck was speeding down Moursund Road when he lost control and hit a telephone pole.
When police arrived they found the passenger on top of the driver. He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition.
The driver died at the scene, police said.
