How to search for registered sex offenders online
State, national databases available for free
SAN ANTONIO – For years, sex offenders have been required to register with local law enforcement where they live. That information is required to be made public so people know where sex offenders live.
Sex offenders report to either a police department or sheriff’s office near their home. In addition to their addresses, they must have their photo taken each time they register (this can be every three months or once a year). They also must report the crime for which he/she was convicted or adjudicated.
