Third fugitive featured on KSAT-12 behind bars

Joshua Jackson arrested in Viriginia

A convicted sex offender who has been wanted for nearly a year was arrested two months after he first appeared on KSAT-12.

Joshua Lamar Jackson, 23, was convicted for his role in the rape of a 15-year-old girl at a party in Reedville, Texas. He was sentenced to 10 years of deferred adjudication supervision in 2013. Since then, he has allegedly failed to comply with some of the terms.

"(Jackson) absconded from supervision, failed to register as a sex offender and failed to abstain from the use of drugs and alcohol," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman in May.

Jackson was recently arrested in Virginia. He has since been transferred to the Caldwell County Jail. His arrest was confirmed after he was included in a group of fugitives on KSAT-12's Crime Fighters Takedown Day Wednesday.
