Victim disappears after shooting, may have reappeared in hospital

Police unsure if man who appeared at hospital with gunshot wound related to case


SAN ANTONIO – Police responded to a shooting on the East Side Friday night to find there was no victim.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at the Houston Street Townhomes on East Houston Street, but there was no victim when they arrived.

Police said a man showed up at East Baptist Hospital with a gunshot wound about an hour later.

The man was then taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center in serious condition.

Police said they still aren’t sure if the man is related to the case.
