Police seek man, woman in brutal robbery attack

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department needs help identifying a pair of robbery suspects.

They are wanted for the Aug. 6 aggravated robbery of an individual in the 4900 block of Gus Eckert Road.

Police said the victim was on the bus and noticed when she got off that a man and a woman had followed her.

The victim said one of them hit her, and she fell to the ground.

She said the second person hit and kicked her while the other person punched her in the face and pulled on her purse.

Investigators said one of the two people managed to take the victim's purse. They also said two people passing by witnessed the attack.

The witnesses followed the pair, but said they denied being involved in the robbery.

The female victim was left bloody and bruised. She was taken to University Hospital and treated for her injuries.
