SAN ANTONIO – The city of San Antonio on Wednesday released the lineup of events for the 2015 Diez y Seis de Septiembre Commemoration.
This year's events include a program filled with diverse and educational festivities for families to observe in celebration of the anniversary of Mexico's independence from Spain and Hispanic heritage.

“Diez y Seis de Septiembre is important for San Antonio to commemorate, as it gives our city the opportunity to truly reflect on our history and the cultural connection and influence that still remain today,” Councilman Roberto C. Treviño said in a statement. “I invite all San Antonio’s residents and visitors to make plans to participate in the many official events taking place citywide.”
The events calendar is available at all San Antonio public library branch locations.
