Affidavit:Man allegedly test drives car, fails to return it

Lorenza Calvin, 20, charged with theft

SAN ANTONIO – Lorenza Calvin, 20, is accused of going on a test drive with a car from a Converse dealership and then never returning the vehicle.

The Converse Police Department received a call on August 15 from an employee of Auto X-Change, telling them about the theft, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The affidavit stated that the employee told them that he made a copy of Calvin’s driver’s license, then let him take a black 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix on a test drive.  He told police that Calvin never returned the vehicle.

Records show Calvin was arrested two days later. However, it appears the charge related to this crime was filed just this week.

The affidavit stated that police have linked him to at least three crimes like this.
