SAN ANTONIO – Henry Powdrill, 50, has been charged with aggravated assault after he allegedly hit his live-in girlfriend with heavy pipe during an argument.
The victim was able to tell Bexar County sheriff's deputies what happened, but by the time they arrived, Powdrill was gone.

He was arrested late Sunday.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK.
