SAN ANTONIO – Texas' oldest municipal golf course, Brackenridge Park Golf Course, is celebrating its centennial anniversary Tuesday, Sept. 29.
Located in between Highway 281 and Broadway just north of downtown, it is the oldest public course in Texas and has been a significant part of San Antonio history and continues to attract golfers and golf enthusiasts from all over.

The celebration is part of a yearlong effort to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the course.
City leaders plan to unveil more plans about the year-long celebration during a press conference scheduled for 9 a.m.
Those scheduled to attend the press include Councilman Roberto Treviño, City of San Antonio, Jim Roschek, President/CEO, Municipal Golf Association San Antonio, Gabe Farias, Chair, Municipal Golf Association Board of Directors.
