NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting a public forum Wednesday in New Braunfels to discuss potential road improvements to FM 306.
The meeting will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the gym of Hoffman Lane Elementary School in the 4600 block of FM 306.

TxDOT is looking at expanding the roadway from two lanes to four lanes between River Chase Way and Hoffman Lane.
TxDOT also wants to add a continuous left turn lane, as well as look into both sidewalks and bike lanes.
