SAN ANTONIO – Rolling Oaks Mall is getting ready to ring in the holidays with a job fair this weekend.
The Holiday Job Fair will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Retailers across the mall will be looking to hire for part-time, full-time and seasonal positions.

According to the National Retail Federation, sales in November and December are expected to rise 4.1 percent – up from the 3.5 percent growth rate in 2014. If this year's holiday sales go as expected, it would mark the largest annual growth since 2011.
And with the upward trend in sales, retailers are expected to hire more help this year.
“As an economic catalyst in the city with many local employment opportunities, we are pleased to help match those in need of work with full and part-time positions,” Rolling Oaks Mall manager Ajay Bohra said.
Among the retailers looking to hire are Sears, Hollister, rue21, Claire’s, Icing, EXPRESS, Macy’s, Things Remembered, LensCrafters, London Jewelers and Rolling Oaks Mall’s Simon Guest Services. The positions available include sales associates, cashiers and key-holders.
At the job fair, retailers will be accepting applications, reviewing resumes and conducting on-the-spot interviews. Job seekers are encouraged to arrive early to secure the best positions, bring identification and dress professionally.
