SAPD: Woman attacks boyfriend with candle, flees scene

Victim taken to University Hospital for his injury

SAN ANTONIO – A woman became violent, attacking her boyfriend following an argument before going on the run, San Antonio police say.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Gardina Street near Vance Jackson Road Northwest of downtown.

San Antonio police said the woman threw a candle at the man, cutting him in the face.

The man was taken to University Hospital for his injury.

The woman could face assault charges once caught.
