BEXAR COUNTY – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent suicide at the Adult Detention Center.
A 33-year-old inmate was found just before 4 p.m. Tuesday in a cell in the jail’s infirmary.
We're told the medical staff performed CPR and used an automatic external defibrillator to try and revive the inmate without success.

The inmate was pronounced dead at 4:11 p.m. The inmate was last observed alive by staff at 3:30 p.m.
The inmate was booked into the jail Nov. 8 on a theft charge and was in the infirmary detoxing from heroin. His name is being withheld until family notification is made.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
