SAN ANTONIO – An assistant principal in the Edgewood Independent School District charged with having sex with a former female student was rearrested Wednesday at his home.
Severo Campos, an assistant principal at Wrenn Middle School faces an additional charge of having an improper relationship between an educator and a student, the district's spokeswoman told KSAT 12 News. Campos is already charged with sexual assault of child.

An investigation determined that Campos, 42, and the student had a relationship since May 2014, when she was an eighth-grader at the school, authorities said.
After getting a call from family members, district police officers found the two in Campos' pickup truck Monday at a Pizza Hut near Kennedy High School.
Campos was arrested and was released from jail after posting $75,000 bond.
The educator remains on administrative leave and pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation could face other action.
