Blown transformer delays class at Medina Valley High School

Classes to start at 10:20 a.m. Thursday

CASTROVILLE, Texas – A blown transformer caused a major power outage at Medina Valley High School Thursday, resulting in classes starting later than their usual start time.

Medina Valley High School will start their classes at 10:20 a.m. with buses running on their regular schedule.

Students who arrive early will report to the fine arts center.

CPS Energy continues to work on the problem and expects to have things corrected later in the day.
