States elected officials offered their condolenses

SAN ANTONIO – As the information in the Paris attacks continue to come in, Texas’ governor and junior senator condemned the attack late Friday.

“Today’s despicable attacks in France are an assault to all of humanity, and the world must unite to condemn acts of terrorism on every front,” the governor’s office said.

Gov. Greg Abbott has also spoken with the Consulate General of France in Houston and offered any assistance.

Republican Sen. Cruz said we must stand with our allies, “This is an evil that does not discriminate between French, German or American, Christian, Muslim or Jew, soldier, football player, or concert goer.”

Both men offered their thoughts and prayers to the victims affected by Friday’s attack.
