UT-Austin monitoring students in Paris

Leaders in Austin are working to notify parents and students on shooting


AUSTIN – The state’s flagship university is keeping tabs on the its students studying in Paris.

This comes after the city was attacked late Friday night.

In a statement on the university’s website, the school said:

“We are in the process of contacting students and partner universities and programs to verify the safety of UT Austin students studying abroad. Students, faculty, staff and  parents with concerns should call Univeristy of Texas police at 512-471-4441”
