Judson ISD elementary student reports abduction attempt

Female student was walking to Spring Meadow Elementary

SAN ANTONIO – An elementary school student in the Judson Independent School District reported an attempted abduction Friday morning.

According to district spokesman Steve Linscomb, the female student was walking to Spring Meadows Elementary School around 6:30 a.m. when an armed man wearing a ski mask tried to abduct her near the intersection of Elm and Wayward trails.

The girl was able to get away and the man drove away, Linscomb said.

The student went to school and reported the incident. District police and Bexar County Sheriff's Office deputies searched the area but didn't find the man, Linscomb said.

The girl gave law enforcement a sketchy description of the man and she didn't see the vehicle he was in, Linscomb said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Judson ISD Police Department at 210-659-9789 or the Bexar County Sheriff's Office at 210-335-6300.
