SAN ANTONIO – When power gets knocked out, it can make traffic lights blink. So what should drivers do when they find themselves at an intersection without working lights?
Officer Marcus Trujillo has an easy answer:
"Treat that as an uncontrolled intersection or as a four-way stop. Remember to yield to the right."
If that advice doesn't help, the City of San Antonio's Transportation and Capital Improvements Department has a visual reminder of that lesson taught in driving school.
It recently put together this video to show drivers how to get around these intersections safely.
