SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police and fire personnel freed a person trapped, in their vehicle, underneath an 18-wheeler, just before 5 p.m.
According to SAFD, the victim was taken to the hospital via ambulance, priority one, which means possibly critical injuries.
The collision happened on San Antonio’s Eastside on Foster Road just north of Interstate 10.
Video from Sky 12 showed multiple crews at the accident site using the Jaws of Life to get the person out.
The accident happened just after 4 p.m.
No word on how the accident occurred.
