SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man was arrested after he was caught on surveillance camera stuffing his pants with clothing from a local Dollar General store.

Raymond Salazar, 23, was charged with theft after he robbed the same store on Fair Avenue three times in the same day, according to police.

Salazar removed tags from the clothing items and put them on before leaving the store on Nov. 25, according to an arrest affidavit. Police said he also stuffed some items into his pants.

In all, police said Salazar stole about $100 worth of the clothing in his three trips to the store.

The affidavit said Salazar had been given a criminal trespassing notice at the store in the past and was known to police and store employees.

Salazar, who has prior arrests for theft, is charged with two counts of theft and one count of criminal trespassing after his latest pants-stuffing incident.
