Sheriff's Office seeks inmate inadvertently released

Arturo Hernandez convicted of aggravated robbery

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in tracking down an inmate who was inadvertently released from a private facility in July.

Arturo Hernandez was convicted of aggravated robbery and sentenced to 18 years in prison. He was let go on July 15.

The Sheriff's Office said he is currently wanted on three felony warrants for aggravated robbery.

Hernandez has several convictions stemming from violent crimes, vehicle thefts, failure to identify, evading arrest and burglary.

Investigators believe he may be with his common-law wife, Jeanette Tello Hernandez. The Sheriff's Office said she is not wanted, but investigators believe Arturo Hernandez is with her.
