SAPD: House guest made extra key, stole from host

Lori Luna, 27, arrested on charge of theft

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Lori Luna, 27, is accused of wearing out her welcome with her friend by stealing from the man’s home after he allowed her to stay with him.

Police arrested Luna Sunday on a charge of theft.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit,  the homeowner reported to San Antonio police that Luna, who had been staying in his home, stole a drill and other tools from him in July, then pawned them.

A few weeks later, police said someone also stole his 40” TV.

Police said there was no sign of forced entry at the victim’s home either time.  They said he told them he believed that Luna had made a duplicate key to his home after he allowed her to stay there.

Police found records that all of the property had been pawned, the affidavit stated.
