Sheriff's office spokesman James Keith said a criminal investigation has been launched to determine if there was any wrongdoing. But Keith said he didn't believe Mosley's death was caused by any wrongdoing by any employees or other inmates.

Mosley was placed in jail on July 22 on DWI charges, BCSO said.
