Man killed after being hit by multiple vehicles on Loop 410

5 vehicles, plus 18-wheeler all hit the man consecutively

SAN ANTONIO – A man was killed attempting to run across a highway late Monday night.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. on Loop 410 near Bandera Road on the city's Northwest Side. 

Investigators said 5 vehicles and an 18-wheeler all hit the man consecutively. All of the drivers involved in the accident stopped.

The man died at the scene.

None of the drivers were ticketed for the accident, and no one else was hurt.

The highway, which had been closed since the incident, reopened around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
