8 arrested in sting at SW Side taco shop

Suspects sold stolen items at Rocky's Taco House, police say

SAN ANTONIO – Eight people were arrested Wednesday in an undercover sting at a Southwest Side taco shop.

San Antonio police said the suspects were selling stolen good out of Rocky's Taco House on Cupples Road.

Police said they sold clothing, cologne and perfume to customers and employees.

Some of the suspects are facing theft charges.

The restaurant owner was arrested on health code violations and the business is closed until further notice.

Police estimate the suspects made thousands of dollars by selling the stolen items.
