Jessica Diaz-Zatarin found dead in June 2014

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for information on two people wanted in connection with the killing of a woman found dead behind a business in 2014.

Police said the body of Jessica Diaz-Zatarin, 21, was found June 21, 2014, in the 1500 block of Somerset Road. Investigators said she crossed the U.S.-Mexico border with human smugglers.

The two people pictured above were captured on surveillance video leaving Diaz-Zatarin behind the building where she died, police said.

Police said both people appear to be Hispanic. The man was wearing a white T-shirt with the word “Monterey” on the back. Police did not offer descriptive information on the woman seen in the surveillance footage.

They were seen leaving in a gray Dodge Ram single cab truck with a diamond tread tool box in the bed. Police said there appears to be white paint on the side of the truck, indicating it is used by a handyman or painter.

The truck was last seen at the intersection of Somerset Road and Mayfield Boulevard traveling south toward Military Drive.

Anyone with information on the person of interest is asked to call the San Antonio Police Department Homicide Unit at 210-207-7635.
