SAPD: Carjacking suspect left victim naked on the street

Earnest Marble, 24, being held on $200,000 bond

SAN ANTONIO – A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with a carjacking in which the victim was made to remove his clothing and told to get out of a car naked.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated that a 62-year-old man, who provides transportation to elderly and disabled people, told police he was picking up a client in the 5400 block of Midcrown Drive on Wednesday morning when two men with guns approached him.  The victim said the men demanded his money, wallet and keys and forced him back into his own car.

The affidavit stated that the gunmen made the victim drive around for about an hour while they tried to get the PIN for his debit card.

The men then made the victim take off his clothes -- which they threw out of the window -- and get out of the car, the affidavit stated.

Police said the robbers also took the victim's cell phone. Later, they were able to trace the phone to a location on the city's East side, where they found the stolen car with Marble and two other people inside, the affidavit stated.

Officers chased the suspects when they tried to run away and arrested all of them.

Marble is being held on a charge of aggravated robbery with bond set at $200,000.
