Wrong-way driver causes fiery South Side crash


SAN ANTONIO – Police said a wrong-way driver was arrested Saturday morning after he drove his Mustang head-on into another vehicle, causing a fiery crash.

According to police, the driver was traveling down the wrong lane on Poteet Jourdanton near Gillette Boulevard when he slammed into a silver vehicle.

The man driving Mustang was able to get out of the car before it burst into flames. He was arrested and is now being charged with DWI.

The driver of the silver vehicle was unresponsive and taken University Hospital.
