Single-vehicle crash leaves one dead

Police say the victim was wearing a seat belt

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating what caused a car to hit a guardrail and flip over Saturday night.

The accident happened just after 7 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Interstate 37, just past the onramp for Interstate 35.

Three people were in the vehicle.

San Antonio police released the identity of the man killed on Sunday.

Erasmo Seguin, 56, was driving when he lost control of his vehicle.

The two people who survived, including a child, were taken to University Hospital. No word was given on their conditions.

It was raining at the time of the accident; police said the deceased was wearing a seat belt.
