Store clerk identifies Isaac Penuelaz on social media

Isaac Penuelaz charged with aggravated robbery.

SAN ANTONIO – An armed robbery suspect is facing charges after police said he posted information about the crime on Facebook.

Isaac Penuelaz, 18, is accused of robbing a Dollar General Store in the 1000 block of Poteet Jourdanton Freeway on the city's Southwest Side on Nov. 28.

The clerk told investigators that a man walked into the store and demanded money.

The worker said the suspect pulled out a knife, grabbed her by the apron and stabbed the register.

Penuelaz got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

A customer later went to the store and told employees that Penuelaz was a Facebook friend and that he posted something about the robbery online.

The clerk looked at his picture on Facebook and identified Penuelaz as the robber.

Police tracked down Penuelaz and arrested him.
