Investigators think flare gun or lighter was used to start fire

SAN ANTONIO – A man may have intentionally started a fire overnight at an apartment complex near the medical center, San Antonio police said Tuesday.

The incident occurred just after 1:30 a.m. at the Cordoba Apartments in the 7800 block of Callaghan Road.

San Antonio police said they received a call for a disturbance at the complex and that's when they found the suspect.

Investigators think the man used a flare gun or some kind of lighter to start the fire in one of the apartments.
