3 West SA men wanted for separate sex assaults on young girls

US Marshals looking for fugitives

SAN ANTONIO – Three men with ties to San Antonio's west and northwest sides are wanted on separate charges that they had sex with children. The US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is asking for help to get the men into custody.

Ruben Rivera Hernandez has been wanted since May 2014 when he did not show up for a court appearance for a charge of sexual assault of a child. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in June.

"Reports stated that Rivera sexually assaulted a female victim numerous times before she cried out to police. The child was under 6 years of age at the time of the offense," said Deputy US Marshal Chris Bozeman. "Rivera was initially arrested by police on the charges, but was subsequently released on bond. He has since gone into hiding to avoid prosecution."

Rivera is 5'5" tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Rivera last lived on the city's west side.

Ruben Rodriguez has been wanted since January 2014 for a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in June.

"The report alleged that Rodriguez sexually assaulted a female victim who was under the age of 16," Bozeman said.

Rodriguez is 5'5" tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Rodriguez last lived on the city's northwest side of town.

Jose San Miguel Ortiz-Lopez has been wanted since May 2015 for a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in July.

"The report alleged that Ortiz-Lopez forced himself on and sexually assaulted a female child as she struggled to fight him off. The victim was under the age of 10 years old," Bozeman said.

Ortiz-Lopez is 5'8" tall and weighs 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Ortiz-Lopez last lived on the city's west side.
