SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a robbery at the Jason's Deli near the North Star Mall at 5 a.m. Saturday.
A security guard at the mall saw two men loading a safe from the deli shop, police said. When the men saw the security guard, they dropped the safe and ran away. A getaway driver was waiting in a nearby car and took off.

Troy Dimick was working security in the area and, when he saw the men, pulled out his gun and stopped them in their tracks.
It's unclear what charges the men will face. The incident is still under investigation.
