$1 Million Powerball ticket sold in Olmos Park

Olmos Food Mart sold ticket that matched five numbers

SAN ANTONIO – While no one in San Antonio won the Powerball jackpot, someone bought a $1 million ticket at Olmos Food Mart in the 4300 block of McCullough.

"I really wanted somebody to win in my store, so somebody wins, I'm very, very excited," Olmos Food Mart manager Rukmuddine Momin said.

A customer at the store was among four in Texas to match five numbers.

"I saw it this morning, so before I went to work, I wanted to check, because I went in in a pool at work," Tony Infante, who also bought a ticket at the store.

Infante and a group of his co-workers at Trinity University pitched in $10 each to buy $110 worth of tickets. Their total return was $8.

"He's always good with winning scratch-offs. I feel like he's lucky when I tell him to pick for me, so I'll keep coming and try again," Infante said. "Hopefully, he'll get another lightning strike, and it can be my turn."
