SculpSure Fat Melter

Most patients receive a 25 percent fat loss after the one-time treatment

LOS ANGELES – A new body contouring treatment on the market is exciting for both patients and their doctors. It’s called SculpSure. There’s no surgery involved; doctors use lasers in this FDA- approved procedure that takes less time than a leisurely lunch break.

Dyana Cruz is a full-time student, working full-time as well. She researched the newly FDA- approved SculpSure and decided to give it a try.

Dennis Dass, MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon at his private practice in Beverly Hills places special lasers in the plastic frame on the area where Dyana wants to lose fat.

The lasers heat and shock fat cells, which are eliminated through the bloodstream over six to eight weeks. Patients feel heat, but not pain.

Dr. Dass told Ivanhoe, “People are looking for something that’s easy and effective and it’s going to revolutionize the way we do things, because it’s so quick and it’s so much easier than the other devices that are out there.”

Most patients receive a 25 percent fat loss after the one-time treatment.

Dyana says this is just what she needs to kick start her diet and exercise program.

Cruz told Ivanhoe, “It’s really hard because of my schedule to start that motivation. So, as soon as I do this, I’ll be closer to my goal, and that would keep me motivated.”

When Dr. Dass finishes Dyana’s treatment, she’ll be able to go to the gym or out with her friends right away. There’s virtually no recovery time needed.

SculpSure costs $1,500 per 25 minute session. The FDA found that clinical trials show the treatment works, but it’s so new on the market, there aren’t many first-person reviews yet.
